Erko Showcar

The goal was to create a car design as a tribute to our past. I wanted to build a beautiful design linked to the past models Škoda 110R or 130RS. This is how ERKO model came into the world.

Novague design concept

ERKO was built on the same chassis as Škoda Octavia. It has the same wheelbase, the engine block etc. Designed for the GT class, it provides space for four people. It still keeps continuity with the classical stylistic principles of the Czech design. The front grille reminds of the original 110R and 130RS models. The concept retains the same character, but shifted to a more aggressive look.

I wanted to create a car design study that would please the Czech sports cars fans, inspire them and point out that the design we use, choose and buy is the one based on our environment. In the history of the Czech design, many beautiful vehicles were created. It’s where I got my inspiration for ERKO.
