Tram Sign

For the Prague public transport I created a universal tram sign to inform passengers about all the changes that may appear on their route through Prague.

For each sign, I created an information display, printed timetables, a solar panel, tram numbers and also some space for advertising. During the daytime, the sign is charged through the solar system hidden in the body, while at night by a cheap night current. The upper part is adjustable, so it is possible to build the sign in different angles to the rail tramlines — according to the location, the surrounding architecture, a wheelchair passage on the sidewalk, etc.

The style of the sign has to fit both the stops in the city centre where the design will be a part of the various architectural styles, as well as the stops at the suburbs.
